New Ideas from Sunday School

The Vicar refers in the July issue of the Review to new ideas from the Sunday school.

Some time ago, Sunday school teachers were re-named ‘Young Church Leaders’ and now with the opening of the new St. Chad’s Hall they are now moving into their new home.

Classes are now to be known as ‘Houses’ and will be named after Archbishops of the Anglican Church. Children will belong to the Fisher House, or the Temple, Garbutt, Ramsey or Coggan House. Each house will have competitions and will have a hand in the conduct of the worship.

“By this means it is hoped to produce a growth in numbers amongst the boys and girls who will make the Church of Tomorrow,” says the Vicar.
