New Organist & Choirmaster

The office of organist and choirmaster at the Conisborough Parish Church has been secured by Mr. Weale, of West Melton. This young gentleman commenced his duties on Wednesday night, September 28th, at the choir practice, and officiated st the organ on Sunday last for the first time.

I have spoken to several church people, and I find it the unanimous opinion, that we have got the services of a clever musician; his playing on Sunday giving great satisfaction.

Speaking of Church matters; I should like to say, that the extra lights which have recently been added, is a very great improvement. I was very pleased, indeed come to see such a large congregation present at the evening service on Sunday last, when the Rev. J. Crawford preached a very good sermon.
