No Dog Licence at Conisborough

Joseph Allen, pony driver, Conisborough was charged with having no name on his dog’s collar, and also with having no licence for the dog.

A man had sold the dog to Allen three weeks ago to him, though he denied this.

Defendant said that the dog was not the case; it belonged to a man named lanes.

He was fined 2/6 and costs for having no name on the collar, and 10/– inclusive for having no licence.
