Northcliffe Club

Over 600 children and over 500 adults went from Conisbrough Northcliffe W. M. C and their annual children’s outing to Cleethorpes on Tuesday.

The children were given 18s. and had their train fare paid. On the same day two buses took old age pensioner members of the club to Cleethorpes. The men were given £1 and the woman 10s. and their fares were paid.

The annual sports originally planned for Wednesday afternoon have been postponed until the weather improves. It is probable that they will be held on Monday afternoon if the weather is fine.
