Not Proper Subject For Borstal Treatment.

Luke H. Wigley, who was in military uniform, was charged at Doncaster, yesterday, with stealing two jersey suits belonging to Emily Jones, of Annerly Street, Denaby, and with larceny as bailee.

He had been remanded with a view to being sent to a Borstal institution, but the authorities did not consider he was a proper subject for treatment.

He was committed for three months in each case, there being several previous convictions against him.

Prisoner said he would appeal against the decision when he got into prison.
