The difference in the two displays could have been greater if all 11 had been replaced.
Where they had unsettled Goole by going into the tackle first time, they hung back; where they had shown constructive approach work. They sent pass after pass astray, and where that scored more goals than any other visit new team at Goole they did manage one at Retford.
