Numbering of Houses

For a long time there has been a difficulty in finding houses in certain streets owing to inadequate or erratic numbering.

For example along Doncaster Road at the East End there are several blocks of houses all numbered independently, while on Park Road, Crook Hill Road, Drake Head Lane, Minneymoor Lane, Elm Green Lane, and the new housing estate there are many isolated houses.

The houses concerned have been renumbered. The new numbers will shortly be available and the confusion done away with.
