Nursing Successes
This week we have news of two young residents who have passed the State final examination held by the General Nursing Council. They are Miss Jessie Ibbotson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ibbotson, of 65, Maltby Street,Denaby Main (whose portrait we give here) and Miss Constance Mitchell, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Mitchell of 4. Melton View. Denaby Main.
Miss Ibbotson was educated at Denaby Main School and Conisbrough Modern School and entered Scunthorpe War Memorial Hospital nearly five years ago, where she is still a member of the nursing staff.
Miss Mitchell joined the staff of Derbyshire Royal Infirmary. Derby, four years ago and is still there. She was educated at Denaby School and later transferred to the Modern School, from where she won a scholarship to Mexborough.
