Obituary

Mrs H Brocklesby

Old Conisbrough Resident

We record with regret the death, which occurred at his home on Wednesday of Mrs. Hannah 13rocklesby, of Holywell Lane, Conisbrough, a member of a well-known Conisbrough faintly.

Mrs. Brocklesby, the widow of Mr. John Brocklesby, was in her 90th year. She was the last of her generation.

Mrs. Brocklesby, who had been a widow 22 years was a native of Brigg (Lincolnshire), but had resided in Conisbrough for more than 60 years, and, until recently (when her age prevented her leaving the house) she had been actively associated with the Methodist cause in Conisbrough during the whole of that time.

She leaves four sons, Mr. George Brocklesby, Mr. J. H. Brocklesby, Mr. Philip Brocklesby and Mr. Harold Brocklesby

The funeral takes place to-day (Friday), a service in Wesley Message Church, Conisbrough, at 1.15 pm preceding the cremation at Sheffield.
