Objecting To Swine Fever Regulations.

At Docaster on Saturday. Walter Bray and Henry Muilins of New Conisborough, were charged with removing pigs into an affected area.

On 7 May Bray called at the West Riding police Office at Denaby and, producing two papers said he wished remove three pigs from Wadworth to Denaby.

The Superintendent’s clerk told him they were not proper declarations, and could not give them license.

Bray in reply remarked that he wished all the —- police and the —–  were in —– . They thought they were going have a —- cop. but they would be mistaken.

Bray then left, and with Mullins who was in the cart in the street, went by indirect way to Denaby where they were stopped.

Bray said he acted on the instructions of the police at Wadworth, but this was denied.

Bray was fined £5 and Mullins 20 s and each 18s. cost.
