Denaby Main Church.
A Happy New Tear to All!
Peace and Prosperity to the Inhabitants of Denaby Main
A New Church is urgently required for Denaby Main and a great extension of Church work; to further this end a Sale of Work will be held on Monday, January 4th, 1892, in the large Schoolroom, Rossington street, comprising useful and Fancy Articles. A special Stall for Ecclesiastical Art, Church Literature etc.
A refreshment stall will be provided. Entertainments at intervals, including May-pole Dance, Character Sketches, &c. A Model of St. Pauls Cathedral will be on view. The sale of work will be opened at 3p m. Admission 6d.
Tuesday, January 5th 1692, a Public Ham Tea and Concert.
Tea on the tables at 5 o’clock. Concert to commence at 7.
The following ladies and gentlemen have consented to help:— Miss Bill, of Doncaster (contralto), Miss Lees (mandolin), Mr. Taylor (the wide renowned Comic Singer), Mr. Tucksworth (of the Sheffield Concerts), Mr. W. H. Chambers. Mr. W. R. Hawkins. Mr. F. J. and Miss Hughes. Mr. James Beardsley, Pianist; Mr. Moses Soar, Violinist. Admission to tea and concert 1s concert only 6d.
