Pillion Rider Injured

A pillion rider was seriously injured and a motorcyclist had a very lucky escape in a collision between their machine and a motor van on the Sheffield road at Conisborough last night.

The injured man, Robert Pooley , labourer of Cliff Villas, Rotherham Rd, Conisborough was detained at the Doncaster infirmary suffering from shock and concussion.

Leonard Jones, of White Row, Warmsworth, the rider of the motorcycle, escaped with abrasions.
