Plenty of New Threepenny Bits

The new style threepenny bits, previously almost at a premium, received a white circulation at Conisborough and Denaby yesterday, when nearly 3,500 schoolchildren each receive one of the new coins as a Coronation gift from Amalgamated Denaby Collieries Ltd, proprietors of the local pits.
