Poker Assault at Denaby
George Bradshaw, of Denaby, was summoned for having assaulted George Ward, of Denaby on the 11th inst.
Ward stated that about 11 o’clock, when he was in bed, defendant knocked at his house door. On going downstairs and opening the door, defendant struck him on the head with a poker.
Fined 30 shillings including costs, or one month in default.
