Prize Pit Ponies
Three fine pit ponies which carried off the honours in the South Yorkshire coalowners’ exhibition at the Great Yorkshire Show at Temple Newsam, last week.
Taking them in order from the right they are: “Ikey,” Denaby Colliery, first prize; ” Mac,” Maltby, second; ” Wag,” Cadeby, third.
