Proposed Young Men’s Friendly Society
On Thursday evening a meeting was held in the Church Schoolroom, Conisborough, the Vicar in the chair, for the purpose of taking the steps necessary for establishing a Young Men’s Friendly Society.
The Rev. J. Wright, organising secretary, attended, and explained the advantages to be derived from the society.
It was decided that the necessary steps be taken towards the formation of the society.
