Queen’s Bounty for Triplets
The wife of a Denaby Main miner name Phipps, who recently gave birth to 3 children, all girls, has received the Queen’s bounty.

Until 1938 the parents had to be “in necessitous circumstances.”
Rose, Violet & Lily Phipps were born on 18th November 1895. Rose and Violet survived and were included in the 1901 and 1911 censuses, living with their parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters at Wood View, Denaby Main
