Rabbit Coursing Match at Conisborough
An interesting fox terrier match for 50s. a side, between Crowcroft’s Bendy and Hatton’s Spot took place on Saturday last at Conisborough.
Bendy had a slight call over his opponent before commencing, and kept his position firmly.
Bendy secured the first two rabbits and then Spot quickly got to work, catching the next three.
The betting now ruled more evenly. Bendy put in some good points, catching the next two rabbits, but Spot all through the match showed his superiority over his opponent, and catching the next three won the stake.
