Red Cross society.
Concert at Conisborough.
An excellent concert in aid of the above Society was held in the Church Hall, Conisborough, on Tuesday evening. There was a large audience present
A. Wilde, the organiser, is to be complemented and deserving of commendation in arranging such a refined musical, classical, and elevating concert.
Miss D. Sharp. Opened with a well executed pianofort selection, and had to respond. Miss D. Sharp also proved her ability in successfully performing as accompanist.
Mr. W. H. E. Wilde, Sheffield, possesses a rich baritone voice, and his singing was received with pleasure and approval.
Mr. H. Heath, Sheffield, with his Shakespearean and cricket songs, was highly diverting and circumspect, and carried the audience into realms of mirth.
Miss K. Crocker, Rotherham, in a series of delightful songs, which included technical music which brought out the fine quality of advice of great compass and range.
Mr. H. Kent Marples was a host in himself and his elocutionary powers transfixed his listeners.

Mr H Sharp gave to Solos on the violin in conjunction with Miss D. Sharp as accompanist
