Refusing To Quit At Denaby.
On Saturday, Doncaster West Riding Police Court, Joseph Roome, miner, and Mary Jane Bodkin, married woman, Denaby, were summoned for being disorderly and refusing quit the Denaby Main Hotel, on 31st of July.
Mr. Hickmott prosecuted.
On the date in question the female defendant commenced to use filthy and obscene language in the hotel. She was requested to leave, but refused, whereupon a waiter ejected her.
The other defendant interfered, and also refused to leave the premises.
Roome was fined 25s., including costs, and the female defendant was fined a similar amount, or 14 days in default.
