Refusing to Quit at New Conisborough.

A new Conisborough miner, named Michael Finn, was summoned at the instance of Mr. Wm. Isaac Gibbs, for having been disorderly and with refusing to quit the Denaby Main Hotel on the 18th February.

Mr. Gibbs stated that at 9-45 the previous Saturday night, the defendant went into the hotel. He was refused drink and he had to be ejected. Previous to that he had been ejected from the large room. He was the worse for drink, and as he refused to go away the police had to be called.

Another witness said the defendant went into the big roomat 9-35, and owing to his condition the barman refused to supply him, and he was ejected.
The defendant who did not appear, was ordered to pay 20 shillings
