Remembrance Day
Conisbrough British Legion will be taking part in the Denaby service and Parade this weekend.
Since Denaby British Legion disbanded, it had been decided to hold the parade and services on Remembrance Day in Denaby one year, and in Conisbrough in the next year.
Conisbrough will mark Remembrance Day on the following Sunday. This year, on Sunday for the Denaby ceremonial, the parade will start at ambulance headquarters and will proceed to the parish church, where a service will be conducted by the Rev G. F. Braithwaite.
The Legion have invited all clubs and organisations in Denaby and Conisbrough to take part in the parade and service.
The Conisbrough parade on the following Sunday will start at the Lord Conyers Hotel and will parade to the parish church.
