Retirement
Mr. Tom Dabbs, who for the past nine years has been employed at the Denaby Colliery as weighman, retired on pension last week.
Mr. Dabbs has been connected with the village nearly 40 years and with the collieries about 30 years. Although now resident in Conisborough, he still retains interest in the Denaby Church and other Denaby institutions.
