Mexborough & Swinton Times, June 7, 1929

Mr. William O’Brien, who for a number of years prior to his sailing for America, three years ago, was musical director of the Empire Palace, Denaby Main and organist of St Alban’s Catholic Church, is returning to this country to spend a three month’s vacation at the home of his parents in Doncaster Road, Denaby Main.

He has been making his home in the last three years in Long Island, New York, but hopes to meet all his friends when he gets back to his old home.

Mr. O’Brien has kept in touch with local events through the medium of the “Times,” his favourite paper.

He sails for England on July 6th.
