Riding on an Underground Road.

Henry Shaw, Charles Langton, and Daniel Hale, pony drivers at Denaby Colliery, were fined 2s. 6d. and costs for riding on their ponies on an engine plane at Denaby Colliery.

Richard Brookes, a boy, was fined 2s. 6d. and costs for neglecting to set a “back stay” to a train of corves travelling on an incline.

For a similar offence William Lawrence was fined 5s., including costs.
