Sad Burning Fatality At New Conisborough

On Tuesday last a little boy, son of Mr B. Wall, New Conisborough, was being left alone, and presumably been playing with fire, and by some means his clothing caught on.

Help was speedily given to the mother, who had just come into the house, by the neighbours, and the flames speedily put out, but, unfortunately, not before the poor little fellow’s face and head badly burnt.

Doctor Craik’s assistant was soon in attendance, and dress the burns.

The unfortunate little fellow was taken to Mexborough Montagu Cottage Hospital, where he has since died.

An inquest will be held,
