Wedding Anniversary at Sea
Able Seaman Sam Hughes, who is serving on a famous cruiser, celebrated his wedding anniversary on April 6.
Able Seaman Hughes, who joined the Navy in May 1943, is the son of Mrs and the late Mr Hughes 46 Blyth Street Denaby and his wife and two children live at Conanby.
Before Hughes joined the forces he was employed at Messrs Baker and Bessemer Ltd
