Saved Man’s Life

The life of a workman at Cadeby Main Colliery, Conisborough, has been saved by the prompt action of Mr. Waller E. Saxton, secretary of the Cadeby Main General Purpose Fund, in ordering a supply of oxygen be made available for the man at Fullerton Hospital. Denaby.

This was revealed at the half-yearly meeting of the fund yesterday, when was stated that oxygen supply was not within the usual scope of the fund, but the case was exceptional and the workman’s life had been saved. He had restarted work in a very short time.
