Scuffle in Cow House

On Tuesday, Harry Brown, of Denaby, was charged with stealing a watch, the property of John Thomas Maddison.

Prisoner on Sunday came to Doncaster, and while in liquor mistook Maddison’s premises for a public-house. Going into the cow-house, he was asked to leave, and, as he declined, Maddison tried to eject him. There was a scuffle.

After hearing evidence of previous character, the Bench fined prisoner 68s, including costs
