Denaby United´s New “Keeper”

Percy Harrison, the new Denaby goalkeeper, was born at Huthwaite, in Nottinghamshire, and first played for New Hucknall Colliery in Central Alliance football.

Then he had a couple of seasons with Grimsby. During the first of them he made eleven appearances with the senior team.

After five times out last season he was injured in the Christmas morning match with Accrington, and had an eleven weeks spell of inactivity.

He is still only twenty years of age, weighs about eleven stones, and stands 5ft. 10 ½ ins.

A cool and reliable defender, he appears to be just the man Denaby have been in need of.
