Serious Accident at a Farm at Denaby

Mr. Nehemiah Mawson, of Mexborough purchased four valuable horses at a sale at Bilham on Thursday, and the same night he had them stabled at Old Denaby.

On the following morning one was found dead. During the night, while restive, the horses got out of the stable. Early in the morning three were found in afield. Stable

The fourth was killed. Immediately after quitting the stable, it had run with its breast against a sharp point of a harrow, the projection piercing the body quite a foot in depth, the injury proving fatal.

The animal was valued at £30.
