Serious Accident at Old Denaby
Mr Frederick Elliott, farmer, of Old Denaby, met with a serious accident on Tuesday. The unfortunate gentleman just mounting his horse, when, owing to a dog disturbing his horse – which was unbroken and restive – he missed his footing, and was thrown heavily to the ground.
It is thought that horse has kicked or trod on the owner, causing severe internal injuries.
Doctor Twigg is in attendance, and the patient is recovering.
