Serious Accident to a Boy

On Wednesday a boy named O’Brien, living in Firbeck Street, Denaby, was admitted to the Mexborough hospital suffering from serious injuries to one of his legs.

It appears that be had been riding behind a court belonging to Mr. Darwent, aerated water manufacturer, Swinton, when his leg got entangled in one of the wheels.

The boy was at once taken to the Montagu Cottage Hospital by Mr. Crossland, butcher, Denaby.

His injuries were attended by Dr. Twigg. and the unfortunate youth is progressing favourably.
