Seventieth Anniversary at Denaby.

The 70th anniversary of the opening of Lowfield Methodist Church at Denaby was celebrated last week-end.

On Saturday evening a ‘silver tray service’ was conducted by Captain Omerod Simpson of Conisbrough Parish Church and musical items were given by the Tickhill Gospel Mission.

The gifts amounted to £28 17s. 6d.

On Sunday evening an old members’ re-union service was addressed by Captain Simpson and Mr. and Mrs. B. Kenyon of Parkgate sand a duet.

The collections from the week-end amounted to over £40 for Trust Funds, and officials appreciate the support and gifts they received.
