She Will Be Denaby “Anniversary” Queen

Vera Frost, 17-years-old Mex-borough Grammar schoolgirl, of Braithwell Street, Denaby, is to be crowned Anniversary Queen of Denaby Youth Centre to-morrow night. The coronation will be conducted by the retiring first queen, Miss Vera Chadfield of Ravenfield Street.

The crowning takes place at 7 p.m. in the youth centre, and Miss Frost will he attended by two newly-elected attendants, Misses Peggy Gibson and Margaret Unwin, each 17. The ceremony is as near to the date of the club’s second anniversary, January 22nd, as could be arranged.

Miss Frost played the leading part of Eve in the youth club’s recent full-length production of Ian Hay’s “Little Ladyship.
