Shopping In Conisbrough and Denaby.
Denaby Main Industrial Co-operative Society
…And a Dividend.
Denaby Main Industrial Co-operative Society is, of course, the equivalent to an emporium in the Denaby and Conisbrough district, offering everything necessary – from beer to toys – and in addition giving a dividend of 1s. 2d. in the pound, a great saving for many people.
The furniture department, for example, covers furniture, carpets, floor coverings, electrical appliances and radios, and in addition the manager of the department, Mr. S. L. Bucknell, can undertake to arrange for anything the customer wants which is not in stock, at very short notice.
The Society comprises grocery and provisions departments, butchery and cosmetics departments and two off licences, as well as drapery, footwear and toy departments.
