Show planned by Fullerton Hospital Committee

At a meeting sponsored by the Fullerton Hospital Demonstration Committee in the hospital board room on Wednesday. Mr J Wright presiding, it was decided to stage an ambitious one day agricultural show in the Welfare field, Conisbrough, on a date in August yet to be fixed, proceeds will be devoted to Fullerton hospital.

It was agreed that Mr F. G. Glossop should be invited to become president. Mr J. Wright was elected chairman and Mr F. Sissons treasurer, with a committee comprising representatives from the Conisbrough and Denaby horticultural societies, the canine society, the pig clubs, the pigeons societies and the Rabbit section.

It was announced that the Conisbrough canine society would be responsible for the dog show and it was hoped that Mr A Massarella would take charge of the horse show. Committee meetings are to be held fortnightly at various venues in the urban district.
