Sleeping Out at Cadeby
James Michael, a tramp, was charged in custody sleeping out at Cadeby on January 14.
PC Moore said he found the prisoner asleep near the fires at the Cadeby Brick Works. He asked him what he was doing there and the reply was, “Having a nice dose”
He told the man he had no business there, and the watchman came up, and said he had ordered the man way before. They had had instructions to keep an eye on the place as tools were Miss.
Prisoner said he could not get lodgings anywhere.
Sentence of 14 days imprisonment was passed.
