Social Worker’s Funeral.
The funeral took place Conisborough, on Saturday, of Mrs. E. Hill, of Montague Avenue, Conisborough, wife of Mr. Tom Hill, chairman of the Trustees of the Denaby and Miners’ Welfare Institute.
Mrs. Hill a former secretary of the Conisborough Party (Women’s Section) and was a great social worker throughout the district.
Among those who attended were Mr. H. Smith, president of the Yorkshire Miners’ Federation, who spoke of the work done by Hill, Mr. J. H. Dunk, secretary of the and Cadeby Colliery Company, and several trustees of the Denaby and Cadeby Miners’ Welfare Institute.
