Tragic Memories
Signaller Arthur Beaumont, of Denaby, in the course of his duties at the Dardanelles, received the last messages from the Goliaths and the Triumph when those ships were sinking, and he saw the torpedoing of the Majestic.
He acted as signaller to General Fuller in the early stage of the campaign, and is now at Glasgow recovering from enteric fever.
