Gunner Ernest Cooper, 23-years-old son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Cooper, of 26, Chamber,: Avenue, Conanby, Conisborough, is serving with a light antiaircraft battery “somewhere in France.” Gunner Cooper was educated at Morley Place School, Conisborough, and later at the Modern School.
He was well known as a member of the Dale Brown’s football team.
