Killed In Action.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Day, of 64. Daylands Avenue, Conisborough, received a message from the War Office yesterday, informing them that their son, Gunner Joseph Day (21). had been killed in action overseas during February.

Gunner Day served in the Royal Artillery for five years, spending the last two years in Egypt.

He was very popular with the regiment for his sportsmanship and had won many cups for boxing.
