Pte. Desmond Sutton, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Sutton, 94, Balby street, Denaby, has served in North Africa and Italy for a year, enlisting 2 ½ years ago.
On Monday he celebrated his 21st birthday, his second birthday spent abroad.
He was formerly a munition worker
