Gunner F. Evans, son of Mrs. Evans, of 12, Braithwell Street, Denaby Main, had been in the Territorial Army for about four years when war broke out, and was immediately called up.
He had been employed at Denaby Colliery for about 18 years and sends, greetings to his pals there. He is quite well and stationed now somewhere on the “Home Front.”
