In Japanese Hands

After a complete absence of news since her husband, Dvr. J. Fearnehough, was reported missing in Malaya in Feb., 1942, Mrs. Fearnehough, of 15, Chambers Avenue, Conamby, on Tuesday of this week received a postcard from him. There is no indication on the postcard as to where he is, beyond the Japanese characters printed on the card. His message states: “I am a prisoner of war, not wounded. I am in good health and well treated. Give my love to my mother and all. I hope you are well. Don’t worry. Love, Joseph.
