 Missing In Malaya

Pte. Joseph Fearnehough, whose home is at 15, Chambers Avenue, Conanby, was serving in Malaya when the garrison of Singapore capitulated , and is reported missing. Pte. Fearnehough, who is 30, was called up in January, 1940, and he left this country last autumn.

On February 9th, Mrs. Fearnehough recelved a telegram from him, saying that he was safe and well, but this did not give any indication of the date on which the message was despatched.

Prior to enlistment Pte. Fearnehough was a bus driver for Sheffield Corporation.
