Private Sidney Hare of 100, Park Road, Conisbrough, son of Mr and Mrs F Hare, Athelstane road, has been in the Army since October of last year.
On leaving school he worked with his father as a butcher, and he has spent the greater part of his time in the Army in his own trade.
He married Miss Barker of West Melton, in 1939, and they have a son 9 months old
