Bombardier J. Harris, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. B. Harris. 33, Rossington Street, Denaby Main, is on active service in France. He is enjoying the life, and hoping to be home for the New Year.
Trooper Herbert Burgess, only son of Mr. J. Burgess, of 57, Balby Street, Denaby Main, has, at the age of 20, already had two months, in France with the B.E.F. He has been in the Army for two years and worked at Denaby Colliery before joining up.
