Former Home Guard
A former Home Guard and the son of a Home Guard, L.A.C. William Edward Hodgetts (20), only son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hodgetts, of 1, Cliff Villas, Conisbrough, has been a fitter in the R.A.F. for the. past two years, volunteering for service before he was 18.
After leaving Station Road School, Conisbrough, he was employed by the Conisbrough Cliff Co., Ltd. He is stationed in this country.
His father, who served during the last war with the K.O.Y.L.I. and the Labour Corps, is now a sergeant in the Home Guard at Conisbrough.
