Denaby Lad Out East
Sgt Gordon Horner, I.A.C.C.of 47 Annerley Street, Denaby, has been out in India for four years, and is now in the middle east.
In a recent letter to his mother he says he is okay and asked to be remembered to all his pals. Others he mentioned from whom he would like to hear are his old school teachers, Mr Unsworth and Mr Watson and also Mr T Allcroft
A brother , Gunner Luke Horner , is in England.
Gordon worked at Denaby and Luke at Cadeby before joining up.
“I send the ‘Times’ out East,” writes Mrs Horner.
Gordon says he gets most of them and always looked forward to them
